The roses begin to bloom in mid-June and are at peak from about the third week of June through July, and then peak again in mid- to late-August. The rock garden is in bloom from mid-June through mid-September.

Docent-led tours of the Yaddo Gardens are offered on Saturdays and Sundays from mid-June through Labor Day for $10 per person. During racing season, tours are also offered on Tuesdays. Visitors should meet at the main garden gate at 11 a.m.

Docent-led garden tours for private groups of 8 or more may be arranged by contacting Yaddo at 518-584-0746.

Special “ghost tours” of the Yaddo Gardens are offered on Fridays and Sundays at 5:00 p.m. from mid-September through the end of October (October 30). The cost is ten dollars per person. No reservation is required.
