All In is a riveting examination of the history of voting rights in the United States and features Stacey Abrams, former Minority Leader of the Georgia House of Representatives. This groundbreaking film, co-produced/directed with Liz Garbus (What Happened, Miss Simone, 2015) weaves rich archival storytelling with the personal experiences of experts and activists. Lisa Cortés is a celebrated film producer and director. The film Precious (2009), which she executive produced, received the Audience Award and the Grand Jury Prize for best drama at the Sundance Film Festival. Marking the acting debut of Gabourey Sidibe, the film was nominated for six Academy Awards® and won two. The Apollo, her 2019 HBO documentary, explores African-American history through the story of the legendary Apollo Theater.
Victor LaValle is the author of seven works of fiction and one comic book. His most recent novel, The Changeling, won a World Fantasy Award and was named a Best Book of the Year by Time Magazine. Destroyer, a continuation of Frankenstein set in the Black Lives Matter era, won a Bram Stoker Award for Best Graphic Novel. He has been the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Whiting Writers Award, and the Key to Southeast Queens.
