Who can volunteer?
Anyone! You don’t have to know a lot about Yaddo to volunteer!
When is training?
Volunteer Training Days
Friday, September 12: 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday, September 13: 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Saturday, September 13: 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
Monday, September 15: 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
What types of volunteer shifts are available?
In addition to needing docents, guides, and assistant guides, we’re also looking for volunteers to help with the refreshment area, crowd control, admissions, and other key roles that help keep everything running smoothly.
How long is the volunteer shift?
We are requesting that volunteers agree to at least a two-hour shift, although many volunteers plan to stay for the day. Please note that you should arrive 30 minutes before your shift. There are four shifts available:
8:30 - 10:30 am
11 am - 1 pm
1:30 - 3:30 pm
4 - 6 pm
