2010 Yaddo NYC Benefit Photos

The 2010 Yaddo New York City Benefit took place on Saturday, April 24, at The Players Club, overlooking Gramercy Park in all its springtime splendor. Over 150 artists and and donors attended. After a welcome from President Elaina Richardson, they enjoyed a funny, smart, and charming presentation by Jonathan Ames, and a screening of an episode of his hit HBO series, "Bored to Death" starring Jason Schwartzman, who was also present. Jonathan then graciously handled questions from the audience, touching on everything from his work in television to his experience as a Yaddo resident. Guests enjoyed a delicious cocktail buffet, with special Yaddo cookies, as well as "Bored to Death" t-shirts specially created for the occasion. Patricia Volk chaired the 2010 benefit, which exceeded its financial goal and once again successfully raised funds to underwrite the Yaddo artist residency program.
